Fun Pictures

Here is a random assortment of pictures from over the last month or so. William is growing so fast and trying new things all of the time.
Trying out a rice wafer!

Who's Babysitting Me?

Uncle Adam and Aunt Anna volunteered to babysit William for us while we went to a wedding. According to William's review after they left, they were given an A for the day! :) Seriously they did a great job and we will need to solicit their services more often now that they are back in the area.
Again meal times are where all the excitement lies!

Going for a walk! Another favorite activity of William's.

Aunt Anna takes a turn!

Eating again?

Ready for Bed!

Uncle Ben comes for a visit

Ben (Angela's brother) was home to Fairfield for a few days and made a day trip up to visit his favorite nephew. We had a good time. Here are a few pics from our day.

Meal times are very exciting!

Who put this hat on my head?

William loved his present from Uncle Ben from his trip to New York City. He loves glasses of all kinds, especially if you let him put them in his mouth.

Uncle Ben is a lot of fun!

Adam's Birthday!

So Adam (Troy's brother-in-law) had another birthday! Not to be specific or anything but I think his new age may include a 3 and a 0 but I won't mention any details :). Anna and Mary spent most of the day preparing a feast! Adam's family joined us and there again was food, fun, presents and fishing.

William loves his Uncle Adam! He is very good with him and loves entertaining him.

4th of July

We spent the 4th of July at Troy's parent's house in Fairfield. It was perfect weather and an all around nice day. My parents came out for supper. We had a good time with food, games, & William entertained us, of course.

Fun times in the carrier with Uncle Adam

Grandpa Innis being silly

Just chillin'- literally.

It cooled off so much that we needed long sleeves and that is unheard of in Iowa on the 4th of July.

We said goodbye to the Old Chrysler which Troy's parents have had since before he was born!

Trek Fest

So we decided since we actually have a Riverside address, we had better check out the infamous Trek Fest that has given Riverside so much publicity. Riverside, Iowa has been named the future birth place of Captain James T. Kirk of the U.S.S. Starship Enterprise. If you are really interested in knowing the whole story behind this go to http://www.trekfest.com/history.php . Basically, the festival tries to balance a small town fair that James T. Kirk may experience with a Science Fiction theme. When you visit you will see small town staples like a demolition derby, truck and tractor pull, rides, live music, as well as a sci-fi vendor area, costume contest, and Star Trek themed events. You might say that this is a small town fair with a Sci-Fi flair.
Our visit to Trek Fest was filled with a lawn mower tractor pull, greased pig contest, fried foods, a few space ships, and a glance at a few trekkies :)
